Announcing the NCRunners Eastern Tour Meet Series

NCRunners is adding a series of small invitationals to its slate of sponsored meets this spring, with the goal of getting more exposure for athletes in Eastern North Carolina. During the second week of March, we will tour the areas East of Raleigh, hosting at least three meets with the possibility of a fourth. Here are the dates for this series of invitationals:

  • Monday, March 9th: Princeton High School (Johnston County)
  • Tuesday, March 10th: Fike High School (Wilson)
  • Wednesday, March 11th: Heide Trask High School (Pender County)
  • Thursday March 12th: To Be Determined (looking for a location in the Jacksonville/New Bern area)

Each of these meets will offer the following features:

  • Fully Automatic Timing (FAT) by Rhodes Race Timing
  • Small entry fees: $25 per school, covering unlimited entries for both genders
  • Video and photo coverage by NCRunners reporters
  • Flexible scoring: bring your already-scheduled local or conference meets to join us, and we will score them separately for you!
  • Full state meet schedule
  • Online entries for accurate seeding


The Eastern NC Tour adds to the two other meets NCRunners was already planning to host this year:

NCRunners Elite Invitational

  • Saturday, April 4th, Marvin Ridge High School
  • Full state meet schedule in the standard events.
  • Separate, recruited Elite sections showcasing the top talent in North Carolina as well as the surrounding states.


Frosh/Soph Invitational

  • Saturday, April 26th, Green Hope High School
  • Full state meet schedule and championship atmosphere for 9th- & 10th-grade athletes
  • A small number of Junior/Senior events for athletes looking to wrap up their season or get one last crack at regional qualifying.
