Southern Guilford's Kylie McMillan had the highlight of the night at JDL Fast Track, running 8.13 in the 55 Hurdles to move up to NC #2 and US #5 in that event. Kylie already sits at NC #7 All-Time with her 8.03 from last winter, and she will be among at least 5 NC stars that will compete in the Elite 60 Hurdles at the David Oliver Classic on February 7th.
In addition to McMillan's performance, the talented sister duo from Ragsdale got back into the swing of things Tuesday night. Charla Ward won the 300 in 40.28, beating Tamara Clark (HP Central) in that race after Clark took the 55 Dash in 7.19. Chesney Ward equaled her season best and PR of 11' 6" in the pole vault, and we look forward to seeing her battle with Apex's two top vaulters later this season.
