Entries Are Open for Champions Tune Up

Last year, the 800 under the lights produced incredible results by Craig Engels and Nate Gordon.

A joint venture between the North Carolina Track & Cross Country Coaches Association and NCRunners, the Champions Tune-Up is a postseason meet that is designed to bring together the top athletes from all classifications in North Carolina, public and private.  Meet management also hopes to attract elite athletes from neighboring states, with the ultimate goal of making this one of the most competitive meets in the Southeast.  This event is designed to be preparation for New Balance Nationals in Greensboro (two weeks later), but it could also be a fantastic end to the season for athletes that are not going on to nationals.  Need one more shot at that PR or school record?  One more chance to qualify?  Just want to close out the season with one more big race?  Then this is the meet for you!
